Traveling is one of the best ways to clear your mind and relax. Getting behind the wheel of a car with the windows rolled down, the top down, and your favorite music playing on the radio is one of those things that is hard to beat! One thing is missing from this list…
An AMAZING cup of coffee!
Here are some of the best coffees that you can drink while you are on the go…
Starbucks Blonde Roast

Nothing beats a blonde roast coffee. One of the benefits to this coffee is the smooth, nutty flavor that comes with it. It’s a perfect coffee to either make at home on your coffee pot, a k-cup in your Keurig, or buy a cup straight from your local Starbucks!
What makes this coffee so great is not just the flavor, it is JAM-PACKED with caffeine. A grande size (16 oz) of a cup of blonde roast is 360 mg! If you don’t know the significance of this, your daily limit according to the FDA is 400 mg. So, if you get a venti size (20 oz), and I am guilty of this, then it is 475 mg! Friendly warning: Don’t drink this daily!
Lavazza Crema e Gusto

When looking for a bold coffee taste, look no further than Lavazza. The boldness comes from its sweet and spiced notes. This coffee brand is famous for making their coffee packages vacuum-sealed. In effect, you are ordering a “brick” of coffee.
The caffeine content in this delicious coffee is 115-120 mg per cup. With its bold taste and mediocre caffeine package, it’s something you’ll enjoy while traveling.
Silverbridge Highlander Grogg

What is it about some coffees that have such distinct and unique flavors? Of course, you can make a batch of Folger’s coffee and get your fix. If you want something enjoyable for your palette, then you need to try Highlander Grogg.
This coffee is named after the Scottish Highlands. The taste is described on their site as, “dynamic flavors to complement the chilly mornings of autumn with a warm, nutty, spiced coffee.” The best thing about this coffee is how it will make your car smell! Take off the to-go lid. Let the smell waft in front of your nose.
Cafe Bustelo Espresso Instant Coffee

Now it’s time to get into instant coffees. Obviously, I prefer the coffees above to instant coffees. They just taste better! If you want something easier to make, and you can make this fresh while in the car if you had the right materials, then this is the best choice for instant coffee!
Although it is a weaker tasting coffee, it is one of the best instant coffees I have tried. Just add some creamer into it to bring out more of the flavor!
Folger’s Classic Roast Instant Coffee

Folger’s is one of the earliest brands of coffee out there. However, their instant coffee is pretty good as well. I highly recommend this coffee for anyone who is wanting something cheap and easy to get. You can get a 6-pack for around $42, according to Amazon. That equals out to $7 per container. That’s not bad considering all you get!
Hope this info helps for anyone looking for great coffees for traveling!
